Former world number one Naomi Osaka will most likely miss the Australian Open, which she won in 2019 and 2021.
According to The Guardian, Osaka may not even have started training yet. Last week she was in Europe with her boyfriend, rapper Cordae. She has now returned to Los Angeles, where her training base is located. But there she was seen only in the Pilates studio.
Osaka was not entered into any tournaments analyzed by tennis predictions before the Australian Open, and was automatically included in the list of participants in the first Grand Slam.
