The German team has been better today at Crystal Hall and won over the Belgian team after 3-0 (25-22, 25-11, 25-21).
The Red Dragons wanted a win and also they hope Bulgaria to defeat Slovakia later in the day, but they have never looked like a team which can beat the powerful Germans.
Discussing the win the Germany coach Vital Heynen ,who is Belgian was impressed with the attitude of some of the players at the end of the final mentioned by sport-tips.net set.
"We had a lead of 19-13 and I put some other guys in.It`s not due to mistakes. You go into the game and do this, this and this. It doesn`t matter what the score is, you have to do your job for what we made an agreement. Some guys went in and didn`t do that.You must play to the last point and respect your opponent. You can only say you`re better after the match. Not like the third set when some guys came in and smile. No. You play a serious volleyball until the last ball." Heynen said.
In the first game of the day, Poland won with 3-0(25-21, 25-20, 25-10) against an already eliminated team of Finland team to keep their 100 per cent record.
The team of Poland rotated players and and took an easy win in the third set.
The Poland coach Andrzej Kowal said: "We have a few young players and all others are experienced ones."If we`re in the first four teams in this tournament it will be a success.If we win a medal it will be a big success because we created this group three weeks before the tournament."
