The surprise leader in the English Premier League, Leicester, apparently has earned the trust of the Manchester United manager, Louis van Gaal. The Dutchman announced before the game of United with the 'Foxes` that this team has the strength to become the champion.
'Normally this type of teams is able to withstand a long time, but in the end it becomes difficult for them. Here in the UK, however, all clubs adviced by sport tips have the money to players, so the difference between them is not as great. So I believe Leicester could become a champion.`, said van Gaal.
The Dutch specialist is concerned mainly by the quality of Jamie Vardi. 'Last year he caused us problems, causing a penalty kick, and now has 10 goals. I`m only familiar with Dennis Bergkamp, who had similar achievement when playing at home in Ajax.`, van Gaal said.
