Djokovic will defend his trophy from Wimbledon

Novak Djokovic is the first finalist of Wimbledon 2015. The world No1 will defend his trophy of last year after at the first semifinal he managed to beat Richard Gasquet 3:0 sets in the different parts 7:6 (2), 6:4, 6:4.

The rival of Djokovic on Sunday`s final, will become clear later tonight, after it is completed the duel between Roger Federer and Andy Murray. Curiously, Djokovic and Federer played the final from basketball picks last year, when the Serb won with 3:2 sets. A year earlier, even in London it was the final from basketball picks between Djokovic and Murray, and the Briton managed to delight the local audiences winning the trophy, his only one at Wimbledon so far.

Djokovic started strong the match with Gasquet after an early break and then managed to lead with 2:0 games. But the Frenchman did not bother and managed to make a re-break for 2:1, then with a quick game at 15 to level for 2:2. To the end of the set they won their both passings and so deservedly reached to tiebreak, in which the Serb was categorical - 7:2 points.

The second set began with an early breakthrough on the account of Djokovic. This time Gasquet had a chance to catch up quickly, as in the fourth game led with 40:15 and received two consecutive break-balls. Djokovic, however has survived from the situation, and to the end of the set, Gasquet never get another chance to break and the Serb led with 7:6 (2), 6:4.

Similarly evolved also the third set. The lieder on the ranking again broke early and then to the end of the game did not allow fluctuations in his serve- games and sealed his place at the final.
