Maccabi with the first win in the Top 16

The European club champion Maccabi Tel Aviv reached the first victory in the second group stage of Euroleague Basketball for men. Having of over than 11,000 spectators in Tel Aviv the champions beat the team Red Star (Serbia) with 78:67 points in a match of the second round in group "E". Brian Randall is distinguished with 16 points and 9 rebounds for Maccabi Tel Aviv. Sofoklis Schortsanitis added 15 points and 5 rebounds, and Jeremy Parga finished with 12 points and 6 rebounds. Nikola Kalinic was the top scorer for Red Star with 18 points. Marcus Williams finished with 13 points and 9 assists.
In another match of the Group Real Madrid (Spain) beat Galatasaray (Turkey) with 93:78 points. Felipe Reyes recorded "double-double" for the home team - 22 points and 11 rebounds. Rudy Fernandez added 15 points, Sergio Rodriguez up 13 points and Sergio Lyul finished with 12 points and 7 assists. Zoran Ertseg was most useful for the visitors with 17 points. Carlos Arroyo and Ender Arslan scored 11 points.
In the group "F" CSKA of Moscow (Russia) achieved 12th consecutive victory after 99:90 points against Laboral Kucha (Spain) and continues without any beaten from the start of the season.
The Russian team Sonny Weems distinguished with 22 points and 8 rebounds. Milos Teodosic added 18 points, Nando de Colon recording 17 points and 8 assists. For the guests Mike James scored 19 points.
Olimpiakos (Greece) beat Olimpia Milano (Italy) with 81:58 points. Olympiakos played a strong second half and at the end of the third and the beginning of the fourth part made a series of 21: 0, which prejudge the winner. Brent Petuey and Oliver Lafayette scored 13 points for the winners. Alessandro Gentile was the top scorer for Armani with 12 points.
